Classic and a roguelike run

Tetris

  • 1 player

Stack falling pieces, clear lines and climb the levels — modern Tetris with hold, ghost piece, T-spins and combos. Or set out on a Run: score enough on every floor before your pieces run out, pick relics, buy bombs and lasers and beat the bosses all the way to the Summit. Two leaderboards — classic and run.

How to play

Tetris has two modes. Classic is a marathon with modern rules: pieces fall from the top, full lines disappear and every ten lines bring a faster level. The Run turns it into a roguelike — the board stays, but you climb floors with a score goal and a limited number of pieces. Between floors you pick relics and buy abilities, every fourth floor holds a boss and the twelfth is the Summit.

  1. 1

Arrows move the piece, Up (or X) rotates it, Z rotates back. Down speeds up the fall and Space drops the piece at once. On touch, drag sideways, tap to rotate and flick down.

  2. 2

Press C (or flick up) to hold a piece for later — great for saving an I piece for a Tetris. The ghost shows where the piece will land.

  3. 3

In a Run, score the floor's goal before your pieces run out. Each cleared floor pays gold, offers one of three relics and opens the shop.

Controls

Arrows move, ↓ soft drops, Space hard drops, ↑ or X rotates, Z rotates back, C holds. On touch, drag sideways, tap to rotate and flick down. In a Run, abilities sit on keys 1–4. Esc pauses.

Tips

  • Four lines at once (a Tetris) and T-spins score the most, and another right after scores half as much again. Clearing lines in a row builds a combo.
  • Save the Run abilities (keys 1–4) for emergencies: a bomb clears holes, the laser burns the bottom rows and slow motion buys you time.
