How to play

Bastion combines a card duel with fortress building. In a turn-based match you feed three economies and divide resources between development, defence and attack. Win by destroying the opposing fortress or raising your own to the winning height.

  1. 1

Inspect your hand and available resources. A card’s cost matters as much as its immediate effect.

  2. 2

Develop your economy to keep useful cards available on later turns, while watching your fortress’s condition.

  3. 3

Watch both paths to victory. If your opponent is close to finishing their fortress, disrupting that plan may take priority.

Controls

Use the mouse or touch to play cards and build. Confirm your turn with the in-game button.

Tips

  • Do not spend everything just because you can. A reserve lets you respond to the next enemy move.
  • Compare immediate gains with long-term production. Early economic development has more time to pay back.
